HELPING TO GROW FAMILIES IN CHRIST

We were searching for a church with a strong Jesus-centred Children’s Ministry, and Wagga Evangelical Church had it! The first Sunday we attended, Small Groups were promoted so we immediately joined one. This was essential to our spiritual growth and stability. That was 7 years ago, and still today, our whole family is growing in our faith, to love and serve the Lord.

DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS, JESUS IN COMMON

We have different backgrounds and life situations, but we can each say that that since we’ve been at Wagga Evangelical Church, we have grown our relationships with the Lord, with each other, with the many people around us and in our families. We have found a place to experience Jesus in a real and exciting way that draws us back each week for more.

CHALLENGED TO GROW

The Word of God is so central at Wagga Evangelical and it challenges us in our everyday walk with God. We are so thankful to be in a church filled with strong leaders who put their relationship with God first and help us to do the same. The different ministries of the church have continually challenged us to grow closer to God, depend on the Holy Spirit in every situation and to love people unconditionally.

CHRISTIAN FAMILY

God has blessed us with people who have become family! We are so thankful for Wagga Evangelical Church. It is a place filled with the Holy Spirit. Here, God surrounded us with many prayerful people who have taught us with great depth about our Heavenly Father.

What’s coming up @ WWEC

WWEC is looking forward to our upcoming Easter Services!

We welcome all visitors to our two services over Easter:

– Good Friday, April 7th @ 10am

– Easter Sunday, April 9th @ 10am

Both services will cater for the whole family. Within these services we will explore the question – is the account of Jesus death & resurrection a true story.

Please come and join us!

Please note – on a normal Sunday WWEC meets @ 9am & 11am. Please come along any Sunday to 401 Kooringal Rd (we meet in the big school hall).

Kids Ministry

As a church we are big on family! Children are very important to Jesus and so very important to us. We take very seriously caring for children in a secure and properly supervised environment with godly leaders.

At Wagga Wagga Evangelical Church, the Ministry Team is never just the paid staff and pastors. We believe that Jesus has given every Christian the gifts and opportunities to serve (minister) to their fellow Christians and to the community around them.

Bible Study Groups

To help people grow in Christ everyone is encouraged to be involved in 2 key aspects of our church life together:
(i) by being part of church service each week &
(ii) being a member of a weekly Bible Study group.
