Wagga Evangelical Youth is our student ministry for students in year 6 through to year 12
Wagga Evangelical Youth is our student ministry for students in year 6 through to year 12. It’s a place where teens can ask the big questions of life, discover Jesus, makes some great friends and have a lot of fun. There are weekly youth programs on Friday night and Sunday morning,
Friday Night – CY
Friday night program is for all students in years 7-12. The program runs every Friday night of the school term from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. We meet in the same place that church is at on Sunday mornings – The Wagga Christian college hall [401 Kooringal Rd, Wagga]. It is called CY because we want as many youth as possible to come and see why [CY] Jesus is so important. A typical youth evening will consist of singing, a Bible talk, games, items and great food!
Sunday Mornings – Youth Church
We are very keen to see youth thrive on a Sunday morning and get the most out of Church. To help this we run a youth Church program every Sunday morning [of school terms] aimed growing year 6 to year 8 youth. In the program the youth are taught the Bible as well as being training in how to make the most of adult church. They get training to think carefully through things like, Lords supper, welcoming, listening to sermons, how serving on ministry teams, private Bible reading as well as a host of other things.
Fridays Nights are for years 7-12 and Sunday Mornings are for years 6-8.
